Jarah Segarrh - Prince of the Southern Kingdom

This picture was drawn by Xhromer and was gifted to me by a close friend who had originally adopted him in an auction.

He is now technically my character, but the only thing I have created is his surname and a new version of his backstory.

Just as the Sestercius family line currently rule the Northern Kingdom, the Segarrh family rule over the lands of Erabus.

Jarah is the oldest of the three princes who are eligible to take the throne when his mother and father decide to abdicate. He was originally human, but was tricked by a fugitive genie named Sidroc into taking his place inside a lamp that he had been sentenced to reside within. The fugitive thought that he would retain his magical powers upon becoming free, but to his horror, Jarah was transformed into a genie and Sidroc became a mortal man.

The Djinn held council with the royal family and Jarah, who felt deeply ashamed that he had been tricked. He was comforted by the eternal beings, and wwas promised that he would not be held accountable for the deceitful actions of the former genie. Unfortunately, the sentence of the lamp could not be undone, so Jarah must remain the servant of the lamp for another 102 wishes. When the wishes have all been granted, then Jarah will be allowed to keep his powers and be a free genie. As for Sidroc, he was given a small amount of power, and banished inside a magic ring, where he would spent three thousand years as a servant who granted wishes through hard labour, rather than very little effort.

Jarah was delighted at the chance he had now received to help grant the wishes of the world's population, and granted all the wishes with the purest of intention. He is now free of the lamp after granting the remaining wishes, but he still likes to wear his genie form to
grant random wishes on occasion to anyone who believes they could summon a genie. The subjects of the Erabus adored their crown genie, just as he granted them the kindness that a man in his station could afford.
